I’m currently open to reads of individual short stories for the month of December only. I’m open to inquiries starting Monday, November 25th.
Spots will be limited and books will close when I’m at capacity. Turnaround time will be quick!
Pricing is $450 per story up to 8000 words. Rates go to per word starting at word 8001. Flash pieces, complete stories under 1500 words, are $200 each.
Rates include detailed margin notes and an hour on Zoom (for longer stories, flash meetings are half an hour) to discuss a revision plan, answer questions, and talk it all through.
If we’ve not worked together before, I will ask that you send me the opening page of your manuscript to ensure we’re a good match once we’ve established contact.
I do not provide copyediting, proofreading, or other line-level work concerned with grammar and spelling.

Writing coaching is a conversation-based approach to shifting you into the right mindset for working on your work. My coaching style is firm but gentle, structured, yet designed to meet you where you are in your arc as a writer and show you how far you can go.
Coaching is the support system you need to get your work done — or, often, to get to a place where you can even begin. Whether it’s discovering new approaches to process or craft or clearing aside psychological or practical blocks, coaching is designed to improve not only your work, but your relationship to it. I'll be your honest, expansive, realistic (yet encouraging!) guide for learning how to integrate writing into your actual life — and how to stay connected to your work in a way that feels meaningful and productive.
Together we'll decide on a structure, direction, and set of shared goals based on your needs.

Sessions are an hour and are offered via Zoom or phone. Private instruction is only offered as a 3-session package.

Two coaching sessions. During the first, we’ll brainstorm statement strategy and content, and I’ll answer any questions. During the second, we’ll discuss notes and a revision plan. Sessions are an hour by Zoom or phone.
